About GlobalCCU Forum
What is it?
The GlobalCCU Forum is the only global event that allows GlobalCCU
Members from all over the world to meet one another face-to-face.
Why participate in the GlobalCCU Forum?
This global event brings together worldwide corporate university
practitioners and researchers, to enhance their personal global
network, to share experiences and projects and to foster a corpus
of industry-specific knowledge. The seminar takes place within
a fun and convivial club atmosphere and excludes learning providers.
Each GlobalCCU Forum is based on a main theme (as selected by
the Advisory Board members from among proposals submitted by
Members).
How does it work?
The GlobalCCU Forum provides participants with:
- a unique opportunity to enrich their knowledge and benchmark
best practices, enabling them to enhance the value of their
corporate university,
- an extended personal network with peers from across the globe
and create connections that will endure throughout their career
- exposure to keynotes and presentations by CEOs, personalities and selected
professionals from prominent corporate universities and international organisations.
- a delegate’s guide containing the text from keynote
addresses and in-depth case studies on leading corporations
from over five continents
- a highly professional learning path with a personal progress
plan designed to enhance their corporate university’s
added value
- a highly innovative forum framework: held inside
an outstanding corporate university rather than a Conference
Centre; music as a common denominator between continents and
cultures, and other out-of-the box thinking.
Participants are brought together for three days of intensive
work within a seminar format (following pedagogical goals, evaluating
them, etc). Attendees work in conjunction with the most relevant
speakers and stakeholders. The program is built around a main
theme decided by the Advisory Board, and the schedule is organised
to incorporate plenary presentations, workshops and networking
opportunities.
The GlobalCCU Forum is also open to non-members of GlobalCCU,
though as with other activities of GlobalCCU, participation is
not granted to consultancy firms and learning providers.
When will the next GlobalCCU Forum take place?
The first Forum was organised in 2008 in Paris; the next should
be scheduled for 2011.
