Our History
2005
GlobalCCU was born during a kick-off meeting held near Paris with
a handful of Corporate University Directors coming from Brazil,
USA, Spain and France. Due to the incredible success of the European
Club of Corporate Universities, Annick Renaud-Coulon received
overwhelming desire expressed by non-European Corporate Universities
to join this organisation. At the close of this first meeting
the vision, ambitions, missions and main activities of GlobalCCU
were determined.
2006
Creation of the legal structure: GlobalCCU SARL and establishment
of the Advisory Board consisting of Executive Directors of Corporate
Universities from five continents.
2008
The 2008 GlobalCCU Forum was held at the Veolia Environment Campus
and at the Sorbonne University in and around Paris, France. The
Forum received the support of the Global Compact of United Nations.
In an invaluable exchange of ideas and expertise, members from
24 countries from five continents gathered in Paris to debate
how to make their Corporate Universities a lever of Corporate
Responsibility.
2009
Launch of the Corporate University Community Platform or CUCP;
an adjunct structure of GlobalCCU. CUCP is a product of the extremely
vital and enriching 2008 GlobalCCU Forum.
In response to the request of attendees to set up a second GlobalCCU
Forum in 2009, in addition to the events of the global economic
crises, Annick Renaud-Coulon commenced development of the first
truly global, innovative and authoritative online Community
Platform of Corporate University Professionals. |
