Local or Regional Chapters
Regularly meeting with your peers face to face to exchange ideas and innovations, share questions, discuss challenges and successes, discover innovative new practices, find the best outside partners, benchmark and build fruitful relationships, is without doubt, vital to all Corporate University professionals. Following the success of the European Club of Corporate Universities, started in 2002, GlobalCCU launches local and regional Chapters around the world, based on a similar format. All Chapters are coordinated and synchronized by GlobalCCU head office. The Chapter is facilitated by a Head of Corporate University or a facilitator selected by GlobalCCU head office.
Chapter Members receive:
Five meetings per year (including one annual seminar)
Principles:
One day long meeting with a lunch offered by the hosting company member from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
One annual seminar (one and a half days)
Organization managed by the hosting company (badges, name places, computer available, reproduction of documents, refreshment break, etc.)
1° One task force composed of several members prepares the meeting with the Chapter leader beforehand
2° Meeting structure:
1. Welcome, news from the GlobalCCU chapter, and GlobalCCU world
2. Short presentation of the hosting Company
3. Presentation of the Corporate University with visit of facilities when applicable
4. Introduction of the theme of the meeting
5. Semantic aspects (what we talk about)
6. Keynote address on the theme by the leader of the Chapter, or by a member or by an expert
7. Benchmark with one or two practices of the Chapter Members
8. Synthesis on the treatment of the theme and personal action plan
9. Roundtable general conclusions
Members file
It is 50 pages file specifically prepared for the meeting. It contains the problematic of the meeting (the angle of approach), the presentation of the hosting Corporate University, the benchmark case studies, strategic and operational tools created by Annick RENAUD COULON – auto diagnosis, action plan, etc., the expert address, and expert biography. This member’s file is written in the language of the country or of the region. The Chapter is responsible for the relevant translation of documents produced by the GlobalCCU head office into the language needed.

The detailed addresses of Chapter Members are accessible only for members of the Chapter and for GlobalCCU head office. This data will not be sold or used by a third party.
GlobalCCU Chapter email express service
Each member is allowed to use the Chapter Members email addresses to request information, advice, and professional contacts from his peers. In order to avoid the email overload, the Chapter leader monitors the rhythm of the questions to peers.
Membership card with a personalized login and password
Each Member has access to the GlobalCCU Chapter website containing information, latest Chapter news and relevant content. A personalized login and password is issued on a Membership card delivered after payment of registration.
Membership certificate
A personalized GlobalCCU Chapter Member certificate is delivered to every member which can be displayed in a Member Company’s office.

A club mindset
Amongst peers: Only top level directors and Corporate University professionals are invited to join a GlobalCCU chapter (we specifically exclude consulting companies and others learning providers). However, experts can be invited to participate in a meeting to bring knowledge and inspiration.
Principle of a community of practice. Members attend the GlobalCCU chapter both to give and to receive feedback, support, advice and challenge.
Principle of rotating invitation to the various members’ Corporate Universities. Each host is responsible for logistics and facilities. This allows members to discover first-hand the organisation and the culture of other Corporate University structures.
Each Company Member can be represented by two employees: a principal representative (who heads the Corporate University, or the Academy, or the Director of the Management Institute, etc.) and by a deputy who holds a high position within the Corporate University. Those two people are not interchangeable and cannot be substituted by a third person. A Chapter is not an association but it is a club.

GlobalCCU identifies, trains and supports Chapter Leaders in launching and implementing regional chapters by providing advices and tools as well as the content of the Member’s guide.
After launching regional chapters, GlobalCCU follow-up the different chapters and help them on:
Content and presentation of different themes relating to corporate universities.
Advice on facilitation, branding, development, press relations.
International relationship with other regional chapters
Lectures and speaker bureau.
One annual visit from Annick Renaud-Coulon
Help them to prepare their participation in the GlobalCCU Forum.
