  • Consult the Advisory Board on the GlobaCCU strategy, direction, initiatives and potential issues.

The Advisory Board is the authority of GlobalCCU helping the Chairman to challenge and apply the strategies of GlobalCCU to develop this unique truly global network of Corporate Universities and this resource centre of reference at the global scale and in the respective country and region of the members.

THE ROLE OF THE ADVISORY BOARD

The role of the Advisory Board is outlined as follow:

STRATEGIC ADVICE AND GUIDANCE

  • Provide resourceful advice to maintain and improve GlobalCCU’s position as the university of Corporate Universities, the worldwide resource centre of reference and recognition for Corporate Universities, the recognised influencer raising the bar and shaping the profession for the long term at a high strategic and operational level.
  • Challenge the importance and priority of GlobalCCU’s activities and participate in its strategic monitoring.
  • Engage representatives of their own general management board in GlobalCCU’s activities.

OPERATIONAL ASSISTANCE

  • Provide efficient assistance to run GlobalCCU powerfully and generate value.
  • Suggest improvements and give honest feedback.
  • Participate personally in GlobalCCU’s main activities, especially the GlobalCCU Awards Ceremony and GlobalCCU Forum.
  • Recommend Corporate Universities within their scope (geographical, language, business) that could participate in GlobalCCU activities and contribute to the richness of the work undertaken.
  • Help to find solutions to any technological and pedagogical issues encountered.
  • Help to find sponsors for events.

COMMUNICATION, MARKETING AND BRANDING

  • Support GlobalCCU’s communication and protect the GlobalCCU reputation worldwide.
  • Communicate about GlobalCCU’s activities with the Corporate University professionals and media of their own country, provide new contacts to GlobalCCU, promote GlobalCCU to their LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook or other social network contacts, where they are invited to mention they belong to the Advisory Board of GlobalCCU.

THE ROLE OF THE SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE

The role of the Scientific Committee is outlined as follow:

INSPIRATION

  1. Stimulate inspiration to GlobalCCU in order to shape the future of the Corporate University profession at the global level.

CURATION

  1. Provide information on the trends in the profession and the current strategic and operational needs of the Corporate University leaders.
  2. Bring cultural, technical and economical knowledge and experience.

OPERATIONAL ASSISTANCE

  1. Participate in the preparation of the content of GlobalCCU’s main activities and their realisation, such as the GlobalCCU Forum or webinars.
  2. Provide guidance on the integration of meta trends and issues in the various processes of recognition, such as the GlobalCCU Awards  
  3. Provide guidance on the content and organisation of the GlobalCCU Platform.
  4. Facilitate working groups and lead the production of white papers on priority topics as required.

COMMUNICATION

  • Support GlobalCCU’s communication and take care of the GlobalCCU reputation worldwide.

 

Roman Baskin Director of the Corporate University of Russian Railways (Russia)
Graduated from the Russian University of Transport and holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Management of Saint Petersburg State University. Has generally more than 30 years of working experience in railway industry. During this period Mr. Baskin was responsible for the technological coordination of the Russian Railways units and divisions in the field of transportation organization, and led the areas of Business Development and Customer Orientation of the Company. Has been the Director of the Corporate University of Russian Railways since July, 2016.

Chris Hardy, DAU, USA
Chris Hardy, Ph.D., Director, Plans, Policy, and Leadership Support, is the Strategic Planner for the Defense Acquisition University, an award-winning corporate university serving a 128,000 corporate workforce. As such, Dr. Hardy helps set the direction for the university and recently implemented an in-depth strategic planning system to rapidly transform the DAU into a Premier Corporate University serving the Department of Defense. Included in this transformation is a unique enterprise-wide, performance based planning system supported by a technology drive business and learning analytic infrastructure that have repeatedly been recognized as a best-in-class practices throughout the public and private sectors. Dr. Hardy has a Ph.D. in Adult and Continuing Education from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Prior to his current position, he served both in government and recently private industry becoming Vice President, INNOLOG, Inc., a Global Supply Chain Logistics Company headquartered in McLean, Virginia.

David Li currently works in SAP as Vice President of Global Customer Operations University for Greater China.
David has more than 16 years of experience in Corporate Sales Enablement and Learning and Development.  Most recently before he joined SAP, David was Head of Sales Capability of the Mobile Devices Sales Group for GAMEA (Great Asia, Middle-East and Africa) at Microsoft, where he was responsible for a variety of organizational capability requirements and driving the adoption of targeted training solutions aligned with business strategy.
Prior to Microsoft, David built a strong record of success in various roles with Cisco, Motorola and Nokia. He was also a training consultant with Franklin Covey, Achieve Global, and, in his first role as a sales manager with the Sheraton Hotel Group.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in Economic Management and majored in Hotel Management.
David lives with his wife and 12 year-old son in Beijing. In his spare time, David indulges in fine art digital photography, sports, music and reading. He was also a steering committee member of Project Hope during his years with Cisco, which helped children in poverty-stricken, rural areas of China complete their elementary school education.

Rafat Malik is Chief Executive Officer at Centre for Governance (Public Investment Fund). He was previously the Dean of STC Academy (STC Vice President) at Saudi Telecom (Saudi Arabia) where his role was to Build and Lead a Digital Academy for STC and the broader Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was earlier Vice President Corporate Partnerships at Financial Times | IE Business School Corporate Learning Alliance in London, UK, a world-leading custom executive education provider.

Rafat is Member of the Board of Governors at University of Brighton (UK), and of the GlobalCCU Advisory Board (France). He was employed at Duke Corporate Education as a Vice-President Director, Business Development EMEA, and spent five years at Imperial College London in three senior roles. He has worked in UK government at the Ministry of Defence, military and high technology commercial environments from the outset of his career Including Smiths Aerospace and GE.

He is, by training a military aviator (Royal Air Force) and chartered aeronautical engineer. Rafat Malik was educated at the University of Warwick, Royal Holloway College and Kings College London. Including courses at Sandhurst Military Academy and RAF Cranwell.

Julia Menninga - Lilium (United Kingdom)
Julia is responsible for Strategy, Learning Technology, Learning Design and Delivery across the McCann Worldgroup agencies in EMEA. She has more than 9 years of experience in HR and Learning & Development with fields like HR Strategy, Talent Management, Recruitment, Employer Branding, Training Design and Delivery, leading a Corporate University, Learning Culture and Leadership Development. She supports the network as an internal trainer and coach.
Prior to that she worked 10 years in Communications Consulting and Communications Management with a focus on Corporate Communications, Corporate Publishing, Internal and HR Communications and Change Management. The strong combination of communications experience, Talent and Learning and Development work equips her with the best possible tool box and knowledge to design and deliver engaging and business relevant learning. This combination pays out on all levels to provide an outstanding Employee Experience. Her subjects of interest are learning technologies, leadership development, networking, productivity and engagement.
She is a member of the advisory board of the GlobalCCU.

Juliano Ribeiro Marcílio, Seasoned, senior executive, with broad international experience.
Large experience in General Management enhanced by a deep understanding of the Human Resources and Strategic Planning functions.
Currently responsible for Human Resources at Banco Bradesco, after 3 years acting as a Director at Bradesco Seguros.
Before Bradesco acquired the brazilian operations of HSBC, acted as it’s HR Head, supporting the construction of the executive team in charge of the Turn-Around of HSBC's operations in the country. Led Experian Marketing Services in Latin America, consolidating and structuring the operations of an established start-up leading to 3x organic revenue growth in 3 years and additional revenue coming from strategic acquisitions to expand portfolio and geographic coverage.
Prior to leading Experian Mkt Services, 15+ years of Human Resources and Strategic Planning experience in diverse companies and cultures helped forge strong leadership skills, strategic thinking and execution capabilities in key aspects of a company (Sales & Relationship Management, Product Management, Marketing and CRM segmentation strategy, Business Development, Operations, Finance, Planning & Control, Risk Management and Human Resources), with a proven track record of superior results.

Prasanna Shivakamat is the Group Head of Learning and Development at Atos, following his role as Director of HR Atos University. He has more than two decades of experience in IT industry and has been leading various functions like Quality, Risk and Business Operations. He holds a Masters degree in Business Analyst. Prasanna’s expertise lies in creating the strategy for digital learning. He has experience in leading and managing blended learning programs across geographies. He has worked in educational alliances with technology companies. In the role of leadership development, he has created and implemented people development programs across the globe, both in e-learning and face-to-face workshops.

Prasanna’s previous experience was as a Head of Quality, Security and Risk for Managed Services at Atos India. He was responsible for various topics, namely Defect-free service delivery, CSAT (Customer Satisfaction), SLA (Service Level Agreement) achievement, Compliance Audits and Certifications, training/awareness and process improvement initiatives. He has also led the Social Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing program for Atos India and contributed to the company-wide implementation of enterprise social networking.

Prasanna loves writing articles on new ways of learning. He is also a big promoter of mobile videos for education. He has created several such mobile nuggets on various topics like leadership, time management, stress management and digital ways of learning etc. He also loves to read about social learning, active knowledge-making and innovative approaches towards education and growth.

Previously, he was a consultant at Accenture and worked at Rolta India Ltd.

Temitope Sowande is a business leader with over 20 years’ professional experience spanning across various industries including consulting, telecoms and banking.
She is skilled in strategic human resource management, program and project management, business process analysis and design, strategic procurement management, and enterprise/process architecture modeling.

Temitope started her career in 1999 with a professional services firm – Arthur Andersen (Now KPMG Professional Services) as a Business Analyst where she coordinated and implemented business projects across various functional areas. She moved on to join MTN Nigeria Communications Limited as a Program Manager, overseeing planning and control of capital expenditure projects in excess of $1billion.

She joined FirstBank of Nigeria Limited in 2012 and has served in several capacities in various departments. She was a Program Manager in the Corporate Transformation Department, where she successfully drove coordination and implementation of several strategic projects for the Bank.  She thereafter was the Head of the Procurement Department, where she championed the transformation of a center-led procurement operating model for the Bank and delivered significant cost savings as part of the increased drive for cost optimization.

She currently heads the FirstAcademy - FirstBank’s Corporate Academy - where she provides leadership and direction, revamping the learning strategy, curriculum and delivery methodologies in response to the emerging skills required for the future of work.

Temitope holds a first-class division degree in Physiology from the University of Lagos and a Masters’ in Business Administration (MBA) from the Bradford University School of Management, United Kingdom.

She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a certified Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) and a member of the Charted Institute of Supply Chain Management (MCISCM).

She enjoys music, reading and spending quality time with her family.


Jemy V. Confido is the Senior General Manager (SGM) of Telkom Corporate University, leading the corporate university of Telkom Group which includes preparing the organization transformation to become Indonesia Telecommunication and Digital Research Institute (ITDRI) which functions as Digital Hub with three pillars: talent development (learning), innovation and research that serves both Telkom Group and the 12 State Owned Enterprise clusters. Before being named SGM in September 2020, Jemy was Transformation Program Leader where led and coordinated digital transformation within Telkom Group which covers product portfolio, business and operating model, organization and people development and also prepared IT B2B service capability across Telkom Group. Jemy has obsession that ITDRI will ensure Indonesia readiness towards unavoidable technology and global competition through innovation culture, mastering science, and technology (research and innovation) and global digital talents that embraces job creation, value added economy, and economic transformation.

Sampada Inamdar Dean, Anand U (A Corporate University). A certified practitioner in Organisation Development, Sampada brings with her 20 years of experience in Engineering, FMCG Manufacturing and Consulting. She has a flair for blending technology and business with a human touch. She is a post graduate in Personnel Management from University of Pune, graduate in Zoology and a diploma in Russian language. She is passionate about leading Anand U in institutionalising its contribution to business. Her achievements in the areas of institutionalising change practices such as Organisation Restructuring, Leadership Development, Talent and Succession Planning have been well received. She is a certified Caliper professional, certified McKinsey Change Agent, trained professional in Balanced Scorecard, Business Process Re-engineering from Japanese Management Association and Job Analysis, Mercers India.

Filippo Romanini, Barilla - Italy
Head of Barilla Lab for Knowledge & Innovation, Corporate University of Barilla.
Filippo is passionate about learning and organizational dynamics and cultural change, and this current position offers him the possibility to put passion at work. Before joining the Barilla Lab, still within the same Company, Filippo covered several positions: first Packaging Innovation, then member of the Innovation Team, a multifunctional project run with the support of Gary Hamel’s consultancy firm, and finally Innovation Practices Development manager, in charge of boosting the innovation capability of the company through direct support to business projects. During this career path across the organization, Filippo had the chance to learn all languages in the Company, an ability that makes him a relevant partner also in his new function, dedicated to Learning and Development, Knowledge Management, Cultural Identity and Evolution at global level.
Before joining Barilla, Filippo worked at TetraPak, where he developed his skills and knowledge in Technical Packaging and Consumer and Market Understanding. When quitting TetraPak, Filippo was head of the Packaging Development Unit, a global function in charge of all product performance analysis and development.
Filippo graduated first in Nuclear Engineering (La Sapienza University, Rome), and then, in Social Sciences (Alma Mater Studiorum, Bologna). He’s a marathin runner and loves reading both fiction and essays, always keeping a glance at possible implications for life, both private and professional.

Valeriia Zabolotna received Higher education in Canada, specialization e-commerce, and has an MBA degree. Also she graduated from Kiev State University with a master degree in social psychology. Valeriia got her PhD in 2007.
She is Associate Professor of Social Psychology at the Psychology Faculty at Kiyv State University named by Taras Shevchenko.
Valeriia is a professional specialist in the field of management and human resource with intensive training experience, management activities in the field of HR, strategies and tactics of human resource management in organizations. In realizing her life mission she was deeply involved in organizing activities in the field of education, creating and launching educational initiative in IT area (from concept to operations), launched privately owed K12 school. She had intensive teaching and training experience in the field of social psychology, personnel management, conflict management, organizational development, and applied ethics.
In 2009 – 2011 Valeriia was Dean of International Relations Department of Psychology at Kiyv State University named by Taras Shevchenko.
In 2012–2013 she was Vice-President for HR in BIONIC Hill and Head of BIONIC University, where she was involved in the strategic planning process, forming the team of professionals for creating Innovational Park BIONIC Hill; designing training programs and development programs and successfully execute them; designing performance appraisal systems to appraise the employee performance; solving practical problems. She created and launched an educational initiative in IT area (from concept to operations).
In 2013 – 2018 she was Director of Organizational Development in UDP, where she planned, developed, implemented and administered organizational development strategies and aligned HR programs for company employees at different projects and businesses. Franck Gaillard is an HR professional with over 20 years of training and human resource experience with an emphasis on learning and development. He started his career as a Navy Officer (specialized in Applied Psychology) in charge of defining and deploying training methods. After that, he worked successively as Consulting and Training manager (Software industry), Groupe and Network Director (Vocational Training for retail workforce), HR Business Partner (Alstom TS South-West Europe & Africa) and since 2016, Franck has taken up the position of Global L&D Director at Alstom. He notedly oversees developing the Corporate University and “i-Learn” digital learning portal which has recently become also a new service provided to Alstom’s customers.
