Study group on impact of AI on Corporate Universities

Corporate Universities are embarked in the Artificial intelligence venture. This is not a scoop as there’s not a day goes by that we don’t talk about AI. However, AI is a Janus god containing a huge promise that everything will become faster and better thanks to algorithms, the race to surpass human intelligence and the economic and geopolitical tug-of-war that this industrial revolution brings. In his dark side, there are many threats to our data, our mental health and our freedoms, which all educators – from parents and teachers from the academic world to those in Corporate Education – have a duty to investigate and prevent as far as possible. Doesn’t education fertilise the soil of the future world?

In an attempt to answer the many questions on this subject, GlobalCCU has initiated a Study Group on AI’s impact on Corporate Universities, as a significant activity of the 2023-2024 GlobalCCU Membership Community, with the purpose to:

  • Explore the impact of AI on Corporate Universities and L&D structures, looking at what is at stake, what are the advantages and limits of Generative AI for them and their client systems.
  • Identify and share useful recommendations to the GlobalCCU Membership Community members to adapt their creation of value for People, Business, Society and the Planet in this context.
  • Shape the future of Corporate Universities in the digital revolution.

We are enthusiastic to explore this very important subject with Corporate University practitioners around the world!
